ACOM1000 PA Installation of External Fan

It is mainly for the cooling of the power supply

For the new version of the ACOM1000 you do not need to take out the transformator

Air flow with the original fan and inlet screen:

The air flow with the ext. fan and inlet filter will also increase:

Inlet filter frame.

I Took out the grid at the outer frame and let one bridge at internal frame, that the filter will not be sucked in.

This will give you about 20% more air inlet area for better air flow:

With ext. fan, KEY DOWN TEST, 15 MINUTES, 1 kW

Fan speed will speed up above 100 deg.C and slow down below 70 deg.C

Shut down at 165 deg.C.

Reflected power above 300W: go to STBY.

Drive power: above 90W: warning message on the LCD,
above 120W: go to STBY
